Glo Won't Power On

Hi,

First post, but I've been reading for several months, since before buying my Glo which I have been really really pleased with.

This morning I powered it off, which I don't usually do, after reading, the battery level was around 60%.

When I tried to turn it on this evening it wouldn't come on. I've tried resets, recharges but no success.

I tried a Live Chat with Kobo support, which got me to try a full reset by holding down the Glo button and repeatedly sliding the on/off button, but still no joy, so they said I have to send it away for repair which could take a couple of weeks.

When I plug it in to charge, the green light comes on but there is no charging symbol on the screen, so I've not convinced it's even charging.

Before arranging to send it away I was thinking of popping into WH Smith's tomorrow, where I bought it to see if they have any other options.

Has anyone got any suggestions of what I can try before having to give it up for a long two weeks, please ?
