Since updating to Windows 8 the Kobo Desktop refuses to sync. All the books from my library bar one are gone and it just sticks on updating annotations. Eventually comes up with a connection error. This occurs whether my touch is connected or not. I can still buy books through the Touch so there is nothing wrong with my account, but obviously the desktop program cannot connect properly so why do it still show my recent book. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing but nothing makes any difference. Any suggestions please.
