screen vulerability

My H2O just requievit in pace after my brother rested his lower arm on it. I wonder if the e-ink devices of other branches ( kindle? ) is more or less fragile being compared to kobo ones. Are the flushed screens ( like voyage, without leveled bezel ) more 'tough' then the non-flushed ones? Or, is this a branch specific problem?
