Issue with Kobo Gift Cards?

I added a Kobo Gift Card to my account earlier in the week, but the Gift Card amount had mysteriously disappeared.

I contacted Kobo and the rep. informed me there is a known issue with gift cards and it has to be escalated.

This isn't the first time I used a Kobo gift card.

I don't know if anybody else have a similar issue with the Kobo gift card or not.
