Kobo software on computer

I will say that Kobo has a far larger selection in the Sci-fi dept. than Amazon since Kobo includes Smashwords and Baen.

I started reading through all the books. I got to around 5500 with the desktop app. Is there any way to start the pages to search from where you left off?
I didn't see any in the desktop app. I'd like to read through to the end.

Showing more than 24 per page would be nice.

I can't search for what I'm looking for as I have nothing in particular in mind.
If I see something while surfing, I will download.
