PC does not recognize Kobo Aura

Hey!
I've been having problems with connecting my Kobo Auro to my PC and it just won't recognize it.
I've tried everything from factory reset to exchanging my Kobo.
When I plug in the USB to my PC, a pop-up on the Kobo says, "Computer Detected. Would you like to connect your eReader to your computer to manage files? *Cancel* *Connect*"
I select "Connect" and nothing happens.

I'm losing my mind.
Help.
