Originally, I wanted a Mini because of the compact size. My indie bookstore didn't have any, and slowly realized the Mini had been discontinued. *Sometimes slowly...*
And then set my sights on an H20... but I saw a Glo at a great price, and bought it instead. (The H20 is still on my wishlist.)
I love it! It's a great size, and has front lights! (But you all know that.)
Previously, I've used a Kindle keyboard. The Glo has all the features my Kindle didn't: compact, lightweight, touch, and good lighting. I know, I know, I could have found those things in a Kindle, but I wanted to break away from the Big-Wonderful-A to see what the outside world was like.
A longtime Calibre user, after scouring everyone's tips here on the forum, I finally got a good Library routine down for my Glo.
The only thing I still long for (and know I'm not alone): being able to send a highlight or annotation to Evernote.
I bought a matte shield for the screen (Great Shield), and a Mulbess cover stand.
I'm so glad I got a Glo! I carry it everywhere, and can't wait to travel with it (soon!).
Thank you everyone who posts tips, tricks, questions and answers! You rock.
