Hello there,
Now, I've done a little searching, but I have yet to find a concrete answer. My Kobo refuses to move past the initial screen telling me to plug it into a computer (this one here) and it shows no real indication of charging. I have tried plugging it into my computer as well as a wall adapter. I have tried different micro USB cords. I have tried holding the power switch for varying lengths of time. And I have tried a reset using a paper clip. No change at all whatsoever. When I plug it in or hold the switch for a few seconds the white power light turns on for a few seconds and then goes out.
Is this normal? It doesn't seem like it is. And if it is, there isn't any documentation that I could find that indicates it is. Should I just let it sit plugged in for awhile and then try turning it on after that? I mean, that's inevitably what I'm going to do. I just want to know if anyone else out there has any information I'm missing.
Any responses are appreciated.
EDIT: I've noticed now that the power light will actually stay on now while it is plugged in. Holding the power switch turns it off. Holding it again turns it back on. Still no change in the screen.
