Sony deserting US market makes room for Kobo?

I was in a Florida Best Buy yesterday saw 2 Air Force men looking at Samsung phones and tablets. They asked if they were ok for reading books. I told them yes and gave them details good and bad about my use of Samsung tablet/phone. Then pulled out Kobo Mini and told them this is what I'm using most for reading because of pocket ability. They new about ereaders in store but Kobo Mini size was what they wanted. Directed them to Family Christian Bookstore in mall 50 meters away that is invisible to most people and no one would think they sold Kobo Readers.

Kobo makes some of the best readers when their firmware cooperates. I don't think their word of mouth stealth marketing does them justice. Lets hope Best Buy selling Kobo readers on line results in Best Buy store displays and more sales.
